This chapter insures that housing accommodations and commercial property subject to the coverage of the act are operated and made available in a manner that does not discriminate on the basis of one or more of the following:
(1) Familial status, age, race, color, religious creeds, ancestry, handicap or disability, sex or national origin.(2) The use of a guide or support animal because of the blindness, deafness or physical handicap of the user or because the user is a handler or trainer of guide or support animals.(3) The handicap or disability of an individual with whom the person is known to have a relationship or association.The provisions of this § 45.1 adopted August 22, 1961; amended December 17, 1993, effective 12/18/1993, 23 Pa.B. 5901.
