Section 836-071-0550 - Statutory Purpose and Authority(1) OAR 836-071-0550 to 836-071-0570 apply to vendors who sell or lease portable electronics devices, including but not limited to cell phones or electronic tablets, and wish to issue, sell or offer for sale portable electronics insurance coverage.(2) OAR 836-071-0550 to 836-071-0570 are adopted pursuant to the authority in section 7, chapter 393, Oregon Laws 2011 and ORS 705.135, for the purpose of implementing sections 1 to 7, chapter 393, Oregon Laws 2011.Or.
