Section 715-025-0001 - Transfer Council Terms(1) The Transfer Council is established, consisting of 15 voting members appointed by the Higher Education Coordinating Commission, and one non-voting, ex-officio member.(2) The term of a member of the Council begins on the date established by the Commission at the time of appointment. The Commission shall notify members of the term commencement date.(3) The term of a member of the Council shall be two years, renewable, except that for the initial slate of appointments made to establish the Council, the appointees to the following positions shall be appointed to an initial three-year term, eligible for renewable two-year terms thereafter:(a) Public university academic officer - position one(b) Community college academic officer - position one(c) Public high school academic officer(d) Public university faculty - position one(e) Community college faculty - position one(f) Public high school accelerated college credit program teacher(g) Community college transfer specialist(4) The Commission shall determine which members occupy the positions listed in subsections (a), (b), (d), and (e) of section (3) of this rule, and shall notify such members at the time of appointment.
