In addition to requirements specified in section 39, chapter 33, Oregon Laws 2022 and other law, the Board of Forestry may use the adaptive management program rulemaking process for rules that are not intended to achieve the biological goals and objectives.
(1) The board shall ensure that the use of the adaptive management process for issues unrelated to the biological goals and objectives does not impair the ability of the adaptive management program to address issues related to the biological goals and objectives.(2) If the board directs the AMPC and the IRST to address issues unrelated to the biological goals and objectives, the IRST shall consult with experts in that non-aquatic research discipline to support IRST projects and reports.Or.
