Section 407-046-0100 - Child-In-Care Abuse Rules: PurposeThe Department receives reports of abuse of children and screens them to determine the response required under ORS chapters 418 and 419B. The purpose of these rules, OAR 407-046-0100 through 407-046-0200, is to describe:
(1) The circumstances under which the Office of Training, Investigations and Safety (OTIS) is responsible to respond to a report of abuse of a child-in-care and(2) The requirements for screening and investigating a report of abuse of a child-in-care that is the responsibility of OTIS.Or.
