Section 333-008-0110 - Oregon Cannabis Commission(1) In addition to any other duty prescribed by law, the Oregon Cannabis Commission (OCC) shall: (a) Provide advice to the Authority with respect to the administration of ORS 475C.770 to 475C.919, including rules and fees adopted and proposed for adoption under ORS 475C.770 to 475C.919;(b) Provide advice to the Oregon Liquor and Cannabis Commission with respect to the administration of ORS 475C.005 to 475C.525, insofar as those statutes pertain to patients and designated primary caregivers, as those terms are defined in ORS 475C.777;(c) Develop a long-term strategic plan for ensuring that cannabis will remain a therapeutic option for persons with debilitating medical conditions as defined in ORS 475C.777;(d) Develop a long-term strategic plan for ensuring that cannabis will remain affordable for persons with debilitating medical conditions as defined in ORS 475C.777; and(e) Monitor and study federal laws, regulations and policies regarding marijuana.(2) The Authority will provide staff support to the OCC by assisting with the scheduling of meetings, recording of minutes, and dissemination of meeting-related materials.Or.
