Section 333-122-0301 - X-ray and Hybrid Gauges: Surveys
(1) Radiation surveys, as required by OAR 333-120-0200, of all X-ray and Hybrid gauges sufficient to show compliance with OAR 333-122-0101 shall be performed:
(a) Upon installation of the equipment;
(b) When reviewing safety devices every six months to insure their proper operation;
(c) When evaluating annual exposure or dose surveys and personal radiation exposure monitoring devices to ensure that operations are conducted safely;
(d) Following any change in the initial arrangement, number or type of local components in the system;
(e) Following any maintenance requiring the disassembly or removal of a local component in the system;
(f) Any time a visual inspection of the local components in the system reveals an abnormal condition;
(g) Whenever individual monitoring devices show a significant increase over the previous monitoring period or when the readings are approaching the radiation dose limits specified in OAR 333-120-0100.
(2) Records of all reviews and surveys shall be maintained in accordance with OAR 333-122-0240 for inspection by the Authority.
