Section 230-120-0110 - Promoter's License

In order to be issued a promoter's license, an applicant may be required to meet all the following requirements:

(1) The applicant, or at least one principal of the applicant if the applicant is a corporation or partnership, shall meet the requirements for licensure as a matchmaker, or in the alternative submit evidence that the promoter employs a licensed matchmaker.
(2) Provide evidence that the promoter will have complete control over the sale of tickets, collection of tickets, counting of tickets, and preparation of revenue reports, and supervision over the box office employees, ticket takers and ushers and security for each event promoted. In the alternative a promoter may submit for review by the commission an agreement between the promoter and the facility in which events will be conducted relating to the sale and accounting of tickets and revenues, preparation of required reports, the supervision of box office employees, ticket takers and ushers, and security of each event.
(3) Provide evidence that the facility or facilities in which events will be held meet state and local fire and safety requirements and have dressing rooms and facilities which meet the requirements of OAR 230-060-0086, 230-060-0087 and 230-060-0094.
(4) Pass a written examination administered by the Superintendent on the fundamentals of kickboxing and Oregon law and regulations relating to kickboxing.
