Section 800:25-7-171 - Species open to hunting

(a) The following hunting seasons apply to the Fort Sill Military Reservation:

(1) Quail: Same as statewide season dates.

(2) Pheasant: See (b) of this Section.

(3) Squirrel: Same as statewide season dates.

(4) Rabbit: Same as statewide season dates.

(5) Turkey-Fall:

(A) Archery: Same as statewide season dates, either-sex.

(B) Gun: Same as statewide season dates, either-sex

(6) Turkey-Spring: Same as statewide season dates.

(7) Dove: Same as statewide season dates.

(8) Rail: Same as statewide season dates.

(9) Gallinule: Same as statewide season dates.

(10) Common snipe: Same as statewide season dates.

(11) Woodcock: Same as statewide season dates.

(12) Crow: Same as statewide season dates.

(13) Deer-archery: Same as statewide season dates.

(14) Deer-gun: See (b) of this Section.

(15) Deer-primitive firearms: See (b) of this Section.

(16) Elk, Archery: See (b) of this Section.

(17) Elk, Gun: See (b) of this Section.

(b) Annual hunting dates, bag limits, and tagging requirements shall be determined annually by Fort Sill Fish and Wildlife Administration pending annual population survey results with the concurrence of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.
