Section 752:11-5-2 - Selection procedure

(a) The Authority shall develop a description of the project which shall include:

(1) A narrative description of the work being planned.

(2) The estimated cost and time schedule of the project.

(3) The source of the funding i.e., appropriated state money, federal funding or other source of funding. Any funds designated for the project which has specific limitation of use, including deadlines for expenditure, shall be clearly defined and explained in the project description.

(4) Any other pertinent data which would assist a consultant in determining his interest in the project.

(b) The Authority shall send a solicitation letter to each consultant on the list of registered consultants maintained by OMES. The solicitation letter will include the description identified at (a) of this Section and shall notify the consultants of the last day their letters may be received to be considered as a supplier for the project.

(c) The CFMO in conjunction with the ADC shall, where possible, select the three (3) best qualified consultants based upon internal selection criteria and other information that may be supplied by the consultants. If the selection is for more than one consultant contract, at least two (2) consultants for each project should be included in the short list.
