Pending title transactions will be checked against a national stolen vehicle database, such as NCIC or NICB, for the presence of a stolen vehicle record. If a stolen vehicle report is on file, the appropriate law enforcement agency will be contacted and the title transaction placed on hold, pending that agency's response. If no response is received within the time period established by Service Oklahoma, the title transaction hold will be released.
