The rules of this Chapter have been adopted for the purpose of assisting the Oklahoma Center for the Advancement of Science and Technology (OCAST) in the operation and management of Oklahoma's Intern Partnership Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Workforce Pipeline Program. This program, known as the Intern Partnership Program, shall provide undergraduate and graduate student interns a hands-on, on-the-job experience that leads to employment opportunities in Oklahoma-based private enterprise, while gaining value-added knowledge of real-world business culture and directly supporting the enterprise.
