Section 445:10-1-3 - Violent, suspicious or unnatural deaths

Violent, suspicious or unnatural deaths are subject to jurisdiction of the medical examiner irrespective of period of survival following the injury and whether or not there was medical attendance at the time of the injury or during the period of survival.
