Section 442:10-10-2 - Term and renewal of Certificate of Authority
(a) A Certificate of Authority shall be valid for sixty (60) days. The Authority may renew the Certificate of Authority upon proof that more time is necessary to allow for the orderly disposition of the business.
(b) A Certificate of Authority may not extend beyond the expiration date of the underlying grower, processor, or dispensary license regardless of the issue date.
(c) A Certificate of Authority does not replace a grower, processor, or dispensary license, which remains in effect and subject to renewal requirements.
(d) Upon termination or expiration of the Certificate of Authority, all medical marijuana or medical marijuana products in the custody or possession of the holder of the Certificate of Authority must be disposed of or liquidated in accordance with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Waste Management Act, 63 O.S. § 427a et seq., and this Chapter.
