Section 340:105-12-14 - Required participant benefitsThe sub-grantee ensures rules and procedures are in place regarding benefits provided to participants. Sub-grantees:
(1) provide the cost of physical examinations;(2) offer physical examinations to participants upon program entry, and each year thereafter, as a benefit of enrollment;(3) obtain a written waiver from each participant who declines a physical examination; (4) do not obtain a copy or use the results of the physical examination to establish eligibility or for any other purpose;(5) provide workers' compensation benefits equal to those provided by federal or state law; (6) cover unemployment compensation, when required by state law;(7) establish written policies relating to compensation for scheduled work hours during which the participant's host agency is closed for federal holidays, which are: (B) Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day;(8) establish written policies relating to approved breaks in participation and any necessary administrative and sick leave that is not part of an accumulated sick leave program;(9) do not use grant funds to pay the cost of pension benefits, annual leave, accumulated sick leave, or bonuses; or (10) follow procedures for payroll and workers' compensation to include: (A) making all required payments for participant payroll and pay workers' compensation premiums on a timely basis; and(B) ensuring host agencies do not pay workers' compensation costs for participants.Okla.
