Section 310:679-15-3 - [Effective until 9/14/2024] Minimum qualifications for a Certified Assistant Administrator (CAA)
(a) In addition to the general requirements for administrators, each applicant seeking certification as a CAA must provide evidence satisfactory to the Department to include:
(1) Successful completion of a high school education and receipt of a high school diploma, or receipt of his G.E.D.;
(2) Successful completion of Department-approved training,completed within 24 months prior to certification;
(3) A passing score on the current Oklahoma State Standards examination;
(4) A passing score on the national "NAB" Core examination conducted by the National Association of Long-Term Care Administrator Boards (NAB); and
(A) One (1) year of current management, leadership or supervisory experience in a long-term care facility; or
(B) Completion of a Department-authorized Administrator-in-Training (AIT) program.
