Section 252:690-3-48 - WLAT

If reasonable potential is demonstrated, WLAT is required.

(1)Streams. Except for streams designated as trout fisheries, Equation E-1, E-2 or E-3 is used to determine WLAT, depending on the value of Q*. WLAT for trout fisheries is 20°C.

(2)Lakes. Depending on whether the discharge conveyance is a pipe or canal, Equation E-4 or E-5 is used to determine WLAT.
