Section 240:10-3-27 - Social Security account numbers or claim ID number

(a)Submittal by employing unit. Each employing unit shall submit the name and Social Security account number of a worker through the employer's portal or by mail when communicating with the Commission in connection with any quarterly contribution report or adjustment of said report under the Employment Security Act of 1980 with respect to such worker. Any report or claim submitted to the Commission by an employing unit through electronic e-file or by mail shall refrain from submitting social security numbers and shall submit the name and claim ID number of the worker(s).

(b)Submittal by individual. Any individual shall submit his/her name and a claim ID number when communicating with the Commission in connection with any report, claim, or proceeding under the Employment Security Act of 1980 with respect to such individual.
