The Commissioner shall charge and collect an assessment from each state chartered credit union on each One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) of assets, or major fraction thereof, at a rate prescribed by the Board. The assessment shall be based on the total assets of the credit union as of December 31 of each calendar year. Payment of the assessment shall be submitted by each credit union along with a form prescribed by the Commissioner no later than the following February 5 of each calendar year.
