Section 165:59-1-1 - Purpose and title

(a) This Chapter establishes the Oklahoma Corporation Commission Rules and Regulations implementing the Oklahoma Telecommunications Act of 1997, 17 O.S. § 139.101 et seq., (hereinafter referred to as the "Oklahoma Telecommunications Act"). This Chapter shall be cited as the Oklahoma Universal Service and Oklahoma Lifeline Rules.

(b) The purpose of this Chapter is to establish such rules pertaining to Primary Universal Service, Special Universal Services and Oklahoma Lifeline Service as are necessary and appropriate to implement the Oklahoma Telecommunications Act.

(c) This Chapter also establishes the procedures for administration of the Oklahoma Universal Service Fund ("OUSF") and the Oklahoma Lifeline Fund ("OLF").
