Section 150:15-3-6 - Additional available funds

(a) Annually, funds for Small Cities community development Block grant programs may become available as the result of:

(1) Project cancellations;

(2) Projects completed under original cost estimates;

(3) Deobligated funds;

(4) Funds allocated but not utilized; or,

(5) Other circumstances.

(b) In keeping with the annual State Plan/Final Statement as approved by HUD, the Department shall allocate these funds, based on need:

(1) As to timing or expenditure;

(2) Amount of funds available for re-use; and,

(3) The most appropriate use of these funds.
