Section 4732-15-01 - Titles to be used by unlicensed persons
(A) A person who does not hold a current valid license as a psychologist granted by this board shall not hold himself/herself out to the public by any title or description of services incorporating the words "psychologic," "psychological," "psychologist," "psychology," or any other terms that imply training, experience, or expertise in any field of psychology; provided, however, that a person supervised by a licensed psychologist shall, while carrying out specific tasks under the licensee's supervision and as an extension of the licensee's legal and ethical authority, use an appropriate title that clearly implies supervised or training status.
(B) A person who does not hold a current valid license as an independent school psychologist or school psychologist granted by this board shall not hold himself/herself out to the public by any title or description of services incorporating the words "school psychologic," "school psychological," "school psychologist," "school psychology," or any other terms that imply training, experience, or expertise in any field of school psychology; provided, however, that a person supervised by a licensed psychologist or school psychologist shall, while carrying out specific tasks under the licensee's supervision and as an extension of the licensee's legal and ethical authority, use an appropriate title that clearly implies supervised or training status.
