The university supports priority registration for specific student populations. Undergraduate priority registration is offered to specific student populations with unique or special needs as determined by the office of the provost, academic affairs.
Priority registration is currently offered to the following student populations: students with disabilities who are registered with student disability services, student athletes, cheerleaders, athletic team managers, marching band members, students enrolled in the honors program, ROTC scholarship cadets, elected student government senators, military active duty and veteran students, members of gold star families, salford exchange students, undergraduates with degree, and students admitted into one hundred percent on-line programs of study.
The purpose of priority registration is to allow specific student populations with unique needs and/or circumstances to register early.
This policy applies to all undergraduate students. Each college may publish detailed implementation strategies specific to that college.
Upon approval by the provost, priority registration status for the specific student populations follows the priority registration dates available from the registrar's office.
