Section 3358:11-3-65 - Assistance and support to veterans and service members policy(A) Purpose. The purpose of this rule is to set forth the assistance and support that Owens community college will provide to veterans, active duty service members, including national guard and reserves, and their spouses and dependents who may be pursuing advanced degrees, certificates or training toward entering the civilian workforce.(B) Compliance . This rule and associated procedures comply with sections 3345.42, 3345.421 , 3345.422, 3345.424 and 3345.53 of the Revised Code, and with federal statutes, including the Harry W. Colmery Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2017, Public Law No. 115-48; Veterans Benefits and Transition Act of 2018, Public Law No. 115-407. (C) Implementation. The chief student affairs officer or designee will implement procedures, guidelines and forms, which are consistent with the provisions of this rule. Ohio Admin. Code 3358:11-3-65
