For Ohio board of regents associate degree programs and one-year certificates, a course petition should be approved prior to the student's applying for graduation. Four courses is the maximum number of courses for substitution. Exceptions processed for Stark state college courses and transfer courses with equivalent classes do not count toward the four maximum substitutions.
