Section 123:1-34-04 - Military leave with pay(A) Permanent employees who are in the service of the state who are members of the Ohio organized militia or members of other reserve components of the armed forces of the United States, including the Ohio national guard, are entitled to a military leave of absence from their duties without loss of pay, for a limited amount of time while performing service in the uniformed services, as set forth in section 5923.05 of the Revised Code.(B) Evidence of military duty. Permanent employees who are in the service of the state will submit to their appointing authority a written order or written statement from the appropriate military commander as evidence of performing service in the uniformed services before military leave with pay will be granted.(C) Paid military leave can be used intermittently by permanent employees in the service of the state.Ohio Admin.
