Section 75-03-36-34 - [Effective until 4/1/2024] Adoption disruptionThe child-placing agency shall:
1. Report immediately to the department any adoption disruptions; 2. Provide services to assist the child with feelings of anger, separation, and loss that occur after an adoption disruption; 3. Assess the needs of the child when considering replacement options; 4. Offer counseling to the adoptive parents to assist them with feelings of anger, separation, and loss; and 5. Assess the needs of the adoptive family with whom the child was placed at the time of the disruption prior to considering any future adoptive placement. N.D. Admin Code 75-03-36-34
