Section 75-03-11.1-17 - Fire inspections1. The operator shall ensure that annual fire inspections are completed by local or state fire authorities. The operator shall correct or have corrected any code violations noted by the fire inspector and shall file reports of the inspections and any corrections with the department.2. The operator shall ensure that the school-age child care program is equipped with sufficient smoke detectors and fire extinguishers, as recommended by the local fire department or state fire marshal.3. The operator shall ensure that the school-age child care program provides: a. The fire inspector's written statement of compliance with the local fire code, if there is one; orb. The fire inspector's written statement that the school-age child care program has been inspected and that the inspector is satisfied that the school-age child care program meets minimum fire and safety standards.N.D.
