No member of a household may be found eligible for benefits unless the value of the household's assets, not specifically excluded under this chapter, does not exceed three thousand dollars for a household consisting of one individual, six thousand dollars for households consisting of two individuals, and an additional twenty-five dollars for each additional individual. In all instances, including determination of equity, property must be realistically evaluated in accord with current market value. Any reasonable costs associated with liquidation of excess assets must be taken into account.
