Section 69-02-02-09 - Show cause orders1. The commission may, by order, compel any person to whom it has granted authority to show cause why the authority should not be suspended, changed, or revoked in whole or in part. The term "authority" includes a certificate, license, and permit. 2. The commission may, by order, compel any person subject to its jurisdiction to show cause why the person has failed to comply with applicable laws, rules, or orders of the commission. 3. The order to show cause shall specifically advise the respondent of the violation and of the time and place of the hearing on the order. 4. An order to show cause must be accompanied by an affidavit setting forth the specific factual and statutory basis upon which the order was issued. 5. At the conclusion of show cause proceedings, the commission may enter a cease and desist order or any order it deems just and reasonable. N.D. Admin Code 69-02-02-09
