The delivery of courses in the summer elementary school grades kindergarten through four program must be developmentally appropriate instruction in reading and mathematics, which enables students to achieve challenging academic standards. All courses in the summer elementary school grades kindergarten through four program must meet the following criteria:
1. Each course must be part of the elementary curriculum as adopted by the school board and must be offered and available to all elementary students.2. Each course must be selected from courses listed in the department of public instruction's course codes and descriptions available on the department's website.3. Teachers must be licensed to teach or approved to teach in accordance with North Dakota Century Code section 15.1-06-06.N.D. Admin Code 67-24-01-03
