Section 63-01-04-01 - Procedure of board1. North Dakota Century Code chapter 28-32 is adopted as the rules of procedure of the board of podiatric medicine and is controlling except as otherwise required by statute or provided in this title. 2. The board shall hold an annual meeting at the call of the president, or at the call of two board members if the president has failed to call for the annual meeting. Attendance without objection to the lack of prior written notice by a board member constitutes waiver of notice of the annual meeting. 3. The president or any two members of the board may call a special meeting of the board and attendance at any special meeting without objection to the lack of prior written notice by a board member shall constitute waiver of notice of any special meeting. Special meetings may take place by use of telephone conference or other like modes of communication as determined by the person or persons calling the meeting. 4. If a member of the board is absent from two consecutive regular or special meetings or two consecutive meetings, the board may declare that member's position to be vacant, provided that the absent board member is given notice and an opportunity to be heard before the board prior to the board's determination that a vacancy exists.
