Whenever the cold water distribution piping is used for grounding the electrical system it shall not be interrupted by a nonmetallic bushing, union, or valve unless an electrician licensed by the North Dakota electrical board installs a properly sized bonding jumper with approved clamps and connections. (Refer to article 250 of the National Electrical Code.)
