Section 45-02-02-12 - Administrative cancellations1. An insurance producer may cancel one's North Dakota insurance license voluntarily and have a letter of clearance issued by filing a written request with the department.2. The insurance producer must return the licenses to the department.3. The insurance producer is responsible for notifying the appointing companies of the cancellation.4. A surplus lines insurance producer or consultant may cancel one's license voluntarily and have a letter of clearance issued by the department upon receipt of a written request from the licenseholder.N.D.
