Section 45-02-02-05 - Effective date of insurance producer license - New line1. An applicant who has filed a completed application for an insurance producer's license with the insurance department may first transact business under that license effective the date the applicant's application is approved by the insurance department. 2. An insurance producer who is adding a new line of insurance may first transact business in that new line effective the date the application is approved by the insurance department. N.D.
