Section 33-07-01.1-04 - Access by the departmentUpon presenting identification to the hospital's chief executive officer or designee, authorized agents of the department shall have access to the hospital to determine compliance with licensure requirements. Such access includes:
1. Entry to all hospital premises.2. Inspection and examination of all of the hospital's records and documents as required by this chapter.3. Interviewing of any hospital staff, medical staff, or members of the governing body with their consent.4. Examination of any patient and interview of any patient or the individual with legal authority to act on behalf of the patient if this individual is available at the facility at the time of the visit, with their consent.N.D.
