Section 29 .0805 - EXCEPTIONSA licensee shall be exempt from eight hours of the continuing education requirement per renewal cycle for any of the following reasons:
(1) A licensee serving on temporary active duty in the armed forces of the United States for a period exceeding 120 consecutive days within the year.(2) A licensee experiencing physical disability or illness if supporting documentation is provided by the licensee. Such documentation shall be in the form of a statement from a physician or medical records that show that the disability or illness prevented the licensee's participation in the following:(a) a course in which the licensee had enrolled; or(b) a continuing education program for at least 120 consecutive days in a year.(3) A licensee whose licensed apprentice passes the North Carolina Locksmith Licensing Exam and receives a North Carolina Locksmith License.21 N.C.
