(a) Every person employed as a correctional officer or probation/parole officer by the North Carolina Department of Public Safety, Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice shall be at least 20 years of age.(b) Candidates shall document age through documents issued by any county, state, or federal government agency.12 N.C.
