Section 60B .1028 - FLOWERS, PLANTS, MINERALS, ETC(a) A person shall not remove, destroy, cut down, scar, mutilate, take, gather, or injure any tree, flower, artifact, fern, shrub, rock, fungi, or other plant or mineral in or upon any State Forest, State Recreational Forest, or Educational State Forest.(b) A person shall not collect plants, animals, minerals, fungi, or other artifacts from any State Forest, State Recreational Forest, or Educational State Forest without first having obtained a permit from the Forest Supervisor or designee.(c) No person shall use a metal detector on a State Forest, State Recreational Forest, or Educational State Forest without a permit.02 N.C.
