Section 6171.1 - Introduction

(a) The provisions of this Part shall apply to the funding of programs providing services to eligible witnesses and to families of eligible witnesses to the extent appropriate to achieve or maintain their security.

(b) Funds available for disbursement pursuant to this Part shall include those funds appropriated by the State Legislature and funds received by the State from any public or private agency or person, including the Federal government for the purposes of crime witness protection program services.
