Section 567.5 - Award criteria
(a) Special achievements shall include, but are not limited to, individual or team efforts that result in new products or services, improvements in quality of service to the public, increase in revenue to the State, savings in time or operational costs, positive changes in the image or reputation of the agency or the State, improvement in morale, etc. It is not necessary for eligible achievements to have been accomplished on an individual's own time. An employee may or may not have devoted unpaid hours to the achievement for which he or she is nominated.
(b) Although such achievements must reasonably have been completed or the bulk of the work done during the specified program year (to be defined by program guidelines), they may also represent the culmination of efforts during an individual's entire career.
