Section 500.6 - Penalties for noncompliance

Any person, firm, association or corporation, or any agent, officer, employee or member thereof who fails to comply with section 500.5 of this Part, will:

(a) if convicted in a criminal proceeding, be guilty of a misdemeanor and, if a natural person, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $500, or by imprisonment for not longer than six months; and if a firm, association or a corporation by a fine not exceeding $5,000;
(b) if, in a civil proceeding, be found to have committed a violation, shall be subjected, if a natural person, to a civil penalty not exceeding $500, and, if a firm, association or corporation, to a civil penalty not exceeding $5,000.
