Section 130.11 - General Cannabis Laboratory Personnel Qualifications(a) A cannabis laboratory shall: (1) only employ persons who are eighteen (18) years of age or older;(2) develop and implement an employee training program, which shall include but not be limited to, a training checklist, and an initial and continuing demonstration of capabilities, to ensure competency of a laboratory employee for their assigned functions;(3) comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to: (i) health and safety training;(ii) handling hazardous materials; and(iii) handling hazardous equipment;(4) ensure and document that a laboratory employee meets the employee qualifications;(5) ensure an employee completes data integrity training upon hire and annually thereafter, and evidence that such training was performed for an employee shall be documented and available upon request; and(6) ensure an employee does not have a direct or indirect interest in a cannabis sampling firm, a registered organization or a cannabis permit, registration or license.N.Y.
