Section 61.1 - Sale of beer in bulk

A licensed brewer may sell beer at retail in bulk by the keg, cask or barrel for consumption and not for resale at a clambake, barbecue, picnic, outing, or other similar outdoor gathering upon the following conditions:

(a) Permission must first be obtained from the authority by the filing of a duly verified application.
(b) More than 50 persons must be assembled at such clambake, barbecue, picnic, outing or other similar outdoor gathering.
(c) No admission fee may be charged or other thing of value be given for admission to such gathering.
(d) The beer may not be resold but is to be given away to persons attending the gathering.
(e) No beer may be taken off the premises where the gathering is held, except that at the termination of the gathering, any beer which shall remain on hand will be removed from premises by the brewer or its designated agent.
