(a) There shall be sufficient bathing facilities to permit prisoners to have hot showers at least three times a week. Water for showers shall be thermostatically controlled to ensure the safety of the prisoners.(b) Consistent with the department's health requirements, the chief administrative officer shall require prisoners to shower periodically and when certain work assignments or activities mandate.N.Y.
