The advisory council shall advise the executive director on the entire operation of the New York State Summer School of the Arts and shall assure that the program offered to the students represents the highest professional quality. Council members will meet bi-monthly with the executive director of the residence schools to review plans, monitor progress and make recommendations for program improvement. Council members shall visit the schools during their operating period and inspect all facilities.
