Section 658.16 - The hearing officer's report and findings(a) As soon as practicable after the close of the hearing, the hearing reporter shall transmit to the hearing officer the transcript of the testimony and exhibits introduced in evidence at the hearing.(b) The hearing officer, within a reasonable time after receipt of the record of the hearing, shall prepare, upon the basis of the record, and shall submit to the commissioner and file with the department, his report, findings of fact, conclusions and recommendations.N.Y.
