When used in this Part, the terms comprehensive study and report, municipality, commissioner, governing body and agency shall have the meanings ascribed to them in section 1263-a of article 12 of the Public Health Law. In addition, the following terms shall be interpreted to mean:
(a) Study area. The geographic area which is to be included in the comprehensive study and report.(b) Sewage. Sewage means the water-carried human or animal wastes from residences, buildings, industrial establishments or other places, together with such ground water infiltration and surface water as may be present. The admixture sewage as above defined of industrial wastes or other wastes, as defined in section 1202 of article 12 of the Public Health Law shall also be considered sewage.N.Y. Comp.
