Any applicant may request a preapplication conference with appropriate commission staff as a means of clarifying application procedures. Such a request should be made at the earliest possible stage of the applicant's project planning. At the conference, the proposed project will be informally discussed, permits required will be identified, and the applicant will be provided with guidance in the mechanics of the application and review process based on information provided by the applicant.
