Section 203.4 - Investigation and hearing(a) The board shall direct an investigation of any questions raised by the application and such objections to the application as may be filed with the board. In conducting such an investigation, the board or its agent may require affidavits or direct a hearing. If a hearing is directed, the board or its agent shall prepare and cause to be served upon the applicant and any party a notice of hearing before the board or its designated administrative law judge at a time and place fixed therein.(b) In the event a hearing is directed, the provisions of Part 212 of this Chapter shall govern.N.Y.
